What are Essential Oils and where do they come from?

Essential oils are widely used throughout history in various cultures for their therapeutic effect supporting physical and emotional challenges,  this is also called aromatherapy.

Each essential oil contains hundreds of different substances, aromatic liquids from flowers, fruits, shrubs, trees, roots, resins and seeds, and are called the "life energy of plants". They give the plant its characteristic taste and smell, are highly concentrated and more potent than dried herbs. Through careful distillation techniques, low pressure and low temperature, the fragile components are retained. Young Living essential oils are produced solely by steam distillation or cold pressing.

As a result, the essential oils are 100 to 10,000 times more concentrated than the original plant.

Young Living oils are therefore graded therapeutic quality, they work at cellular level and do not only offer relief for physical discomfort, but also for emotional or spiritual imbalance.
