Wintergreen – IMPORTANT MESSAGE

We regret to inform you that from this month, Wintergreen essential oil and certain other Young Living cosmetic products containing Wintergreen essential oil, will be phased out and no longer available for purchase due to a change in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament on cosmetic products.

Following a regulation change, cosmetic products may contain only a very small amount of methyl salicylate, a significant compound of Wintergreen. The allowable amount varies per product type, and only cosmetics are affected.

As a result, Young Living cosmetic products containing Wintergreen essential oil will be reformulated. We are also in the process of identifying a replacement oil for collections that currently contain Wintergreen so our brand partners and customers can continue enjoying their favourite products.
